Everything a band office runs on, and the website its community reads.

NationWorks is the software a First Nation government runs its day on — housing, members, council, consultation, funding — and the website its community reads. The help lines, the services directory and each Nation's own published site are open to everyone, free, with no account.

Need help right now? Crisis and support lines for First Nations, Inuit and Métis people — free, 24 hours, no appointment and no account.

Nations publishing with us

Services, news, jobs, Chief and Council and office hours — published by the Nation itself, and current because it comes from their own records. The example sites below show what one looks like.

Crisis, mental health, family violence and residential-school support lines, and under them a checked directory of Indigenous services — health, treatment centres, Friendship Centres, family, legal, housing, employment and education. Free, 24 hours, and open to anyone. No appointment, no status card, no reason needed. Every number is checked against the organization’s own website.

For members of a Nation

Your Nation's own site, and a way to reach the office

Your Nation's own website and its member portal are how you reach the office here — notices, jobs, the services it runs, the housing application, and your own file. Your Nation publishes it and your Nation's membership office confirms who you are; we never do that ourselves.

If your Nation has not joined yet, sign up and we will take your name and tell you when it does. The help lines and the services directory need no account either way.

For a band office

One system instead of nine

Housing and rent, the members registry, lands, HR and payroll exports, finance, emergency management, consultation and referrals, governance and council packs, documents with retention — plus the Nation's public website generated from the same records, on its own domain.

Data stays in Canada. The Nation owns it and can export everything at any time.
