Education and Language

Education runs Aspen Ridge School from kindergarten to grade 9, Little Bears Head Start, post-secondary sponsorship and the Cree language programme. Cree is taught at every grade.

Elders' Winter Assistance 2026
One-time $500 toward heating costs for Elders living on reserve. Paid to the account or the utility directly.
Post-Secondary Student Support 2026–27
Tuition, books and a monthly living allowance for members accepted to a recognized post-secondary program.
When do post-secondary applications close?+

Fall intake closes 30 April; winter intake closes 30 September. Late applications are considered if funding remains.

Can adults join the language class?+

Yes. The evening class at the hall is open to everyone, members and non-members.
